Author Guidelines — Digital Integration Era Journal

Make sure your paper’s main contribution falls within the journal’s scope (technologies, their integration and applied innovation) and one of its twenty fields; if its main contribution is humanistic or social, choose the sister journal closest to it.
Papers are accepted in Arabic or English and are written on the journal’s Arabic or English template.

Title, authors’ names, affiliations and email addresses.
An Arabic and an English abstract, with keywords.
Introduction, research problem and questions, methodology, results and discussion, and conclusion.
A reference list in a recognised, consistent citation style.
Disclosure of funding, conflicts of interest and any use of AI tools.

Upload your paper from your dashboard as a Word .docx file without page numbers, after deleting all yellow-highlighted text from the template; the system converts it to PDF and keeps your original file.
The maximum length is 17 pages, counted on the PDF that the system produces from your file; files over this limit are not accepted.
Each account may have two papers under review in the journal at the same time and may submit a new paper once a decision is made on one of them. The same paper may not be submitted to two journals of the system at the same time. This does not restrict editing an earlier submission, uploading its revised version or completing payment.
Supported images inside Word: PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP. EMF/WMF images are not carried over, so save them as PNG or JPG first. Equations are carried over as plain text; if they are essential, insert them as images. Old .doc files are not accepted.

Every paper undergoes editorial screening and peer review before publication, followed by a decision to accept, request revisions or reject.
If revisions are requested, you receive the comments and upload the revised version from “My papers” using “Submit revised paper”.

The publication fee is requested only after acceptance; its amount is shown on the paper’s payment page.
Once payment is confirmed, the paper is published on its own page, and the publication certificate and letter are issued in Arabic and English with a verification code.
